Location
Verdura Resort is located on Sicily’s sun-drenched south-western coast, close to the historic seaside town of Sciacca and approximately 40 kilometres from Agrigento. Surrounded by olive groves and citrus trees, the resort enjoys an extensive stretch of coastline overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Thanks to the sheer size of the estate, there is a wonderful sense of peace, space and privacy throughout the resort. Verdura is also ideally located for discovering some of southern Sicily’s most beautiful attractions, including the famous Valley of the Temples near Agrigento and the spectacular coastline around Scala dei Turchi.
Rooms and Suites
The rooms and suites at Verdura Resort are spacious, stylish and contemporary, combining modern Italian elegance with typical Sicilian materials and colours. The Deluxe Rooms measure approximately 40 m² and feature a private balcony with beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Superior Deluxe Rooms also offer views across the golf courses. Guests looking for even more space and comfort can choose from a selection of Junior Suites and Suites, many of which feature generous terraces overlooking the sea and golf courses. For an exceptionally luxurious stay, Verdura also offers spacious Forte Suites, suites with private pools and exclusive private villas with three or four bedrooms.

Golf

The two championship courses, Verdura East Links and Verdura West Shore, blend beautifully into the natural Sicilian landscape and offer spectacular views of the Mediterranean from numerous holes. The resort also features a 9-hole par-3 Executive Course.
Verdura East Links is a par 73 measuring 6,763 metres and was completely renovated and redesigned under the direction of Kyle Phillips. The course combines strategically positioned bunkers and water hazards with magnificent holes running directly alongside the coast. Verdura West Shore, a par 70 measuring 6,547 metres, begins with a challenging series of long par-4 holes. The opening nine winds through the inland part of the resort before the back nine heads towards the Mediterranean, offering increasingly impressive sea views. The combination of links-style golf, coastal winds and a spectacular seaside setting ensures that every round at Verdura offers a different challenge.
Verdura also boasts excellent practice facilities, including a double-ended driving range, putting green, Golf Academy and Performance Centre. The stylish Clubhouse features a comfortable lounge and a well-equipped Pro Shop. With all golf facilities located within the resort itself, there is no need for lengthy transfers to different courses. From your room, you can be on the first tee within just a few minutes.

Quality control
We assure you that we have personally visited all the locations mentioned in our brochures and on our website to carry out our own quality checks. We regularly travel to inspect hotels and golf courses on key points. We want to ensure that the only thing beyond your control is the weather. Our Quality Control is, therefore, a vital part of our organization.
Cancellation Insurance
When making your reservation, we will ask whether you would like to take out cancellation insurance. We strongly advise doing so immediately. If, for any unforeseen reason, you are unable to travel, the insurance will in many cases cover the travel sum (or a portion of it) minus the premium. The cost is 6.5% of the total travel sum. Our cancellation insurance is provided through Allianz Mondial Assistance. A copy of the policy terms is available upon request.
Golf Bag Transport
Transport of your golf bag is always included in our packages. However, if preferred, it is also possible to rent a golf set at many destinations for the desired period. Please contact us to inquire about the options.
Costs
To keep our trips as attractive as possible, we charge only €35.00 in administration fees per invoice. Change fees apply from six weeks before departure. These vary on a case-by-case basis. We aim to keep these costs as low as possible.
Car Rental
In most packages, a rental car is included in the travel price. A minimum age of 25 years and a credit card are required to rent a car. The car is provided as standard in category BB. You can upgrade to a higher category vehicle for an additional fee. The car rental includes CDW / TP / UM with deductible, but excludes fuel, airport taxes, and possible drop-off charges. A credit card is required as a deposit when collecting the car.

Golf is at the heart of the experience at Rocco Forte Verdura. The resort offers 45 holes, comprising two 18-hole championship courses and a 9-hole Executive Course. The courses were designed by internationally renowned American golf architect Kyle Phillips and blend beautifully into the Sicilian landscape.
The Verdura East Links is an impressive championship course where strategically positioned bunkers and water hazards are combined with magnificent holes along the Mediterranean Sea. It provides plenty of challenge for experienced golfers while remaining enjoyable for players with higher handicaps.
The Verdura West Shore has a different character. The opening holes run through the inland section of the resort before the course gradually moves towards the coast. Particularly on the back nine, the Mediterranean Sea and the Sicilian coastline provide a spectacular backdrop. The coastal breeze can also have a significant influence, making every round a different experience.
